In the official English dub, (voiced by Brina Palencia) delivers her iconic lines to Mamoru before sending him to Hell:

: "This is vengeance, so I am to ferry you to Hell".

: Desperate and alone, Daisuke accesses the "Hell Correspondence". He attempts to give Mamoru one final chance to confess, but Mamoru only laughs and mocks him. Daisuke pulls the scarlet thread, officially sealing the contract with Ai Enma. Key English Dub Dialogue

: Before the contract is sealed, Ai warns Daisuke: "When you die, your soul will also belong to Hell. You will never know the joys of Heaven; you will be left to wander through a world made of pain and agony for all of eternity". Characters in Episode 3

: Shinichi tragically dies from his injuries three days later. Instead of taking responsibility, Mamoru frames Daisuke for the murder, causing the entire school and town to turn against him.

: In a wooded area, Mamoru brutally attacks Shinichi with a baseball bat after accusing him of "playing around" on the field. Despite being severely injured, Shinichi refuses to report the incident because he is desperate to play in an upcoming big tournament.

The story follows , a high school student and baseball player, and his close friend Shinichi Muroi . Their teammate and the team’s ace pitcher, Mamoru Hanagasa , is a talented but arrogant bully who frequently targets Shinichi.
