A prequel set 400 years earlier, focusing on the Gempei War—the dawn of the Samurai.
The UI and map are styled like traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e paintings. Even the loading screens feature haikus.
Because every clan uses similar units (Samurai, Ashigaru, Monk), the game isn't about who has the "magic dragon"—it's about who has the better tactics, positioning, and timing.
